IISc has plenty of places where one can get lost in reading out in the open, something I never did before coming here. I always thought locked in a room is where one should be, if concentration is a requirement.
I hardly go to my room now though! Be it the corridor outside faculty hall, the most iconic place in the institute or the various sit-outs and sit-ins offered in/around many departments, you can get lost in reading almost anywhere.
One such pretty little place exists in the Mathematics Dept., complete with nice chairs, table and blackboard. On one side it faces a corridor leading inside the building and on the other a garden.
Occasionally, I love to sit on the corner, facing the plants while reading a paper.
